Every character in Sugared is an artificial intelligence — not a person, not a human operator, not a professional.
Disclosure
Characters are AI: a language model with a synthetic voice and an animated face. A character will tell you she is an AI if you ask. Characters can be wrong and can make things up; nothing they say is professional advice.
Crisis protocol
If what you say suggests you may be thinking about suicide or self-harm, the character stops the fiction, says plainly that she is an AI, and shows real crisis lines:
