Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Roboticc Pty Ltd (ABN 15 648 591 182) ("Sugared Games", "we") for the Sugared app on Steam, iPhone and Android. Your use of each store is also governed by its own terms (the Steam Subscriber Agreement, Apple's Media Services Terms, Google Play's Terms of Service).
1. Who can use Sugared
You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
2. What Sugared is
Sugared lets you talk with AI characters that have a voice and an animated face. Every character, voice, image, clip and line of dialogue is computer-generated. No character is a real person or depicts one, and all characters are adults.
Conversations are fiction generated by software in response to what you say. They are not advice of any kind and not a substitute for people or professional help.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
Characters, content and subscriptions are sold through Steam, the App Store or Google Play and paid through that store. They are licences to use content inside Sugared, not property, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money. Phone subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your store account settings; Steam Online passes last for the period you bought and do not renew. Refunds follow the store's refund policy.
4. Acceptable use
Do not try to defeat the app's safety systems, and do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or extract the characters, models, voices or clips.
If you edit a character or import a character card, it must keep every character an adult and must not describe anything non-consensual; edits that break this are refused.
5. Ownership
Characters, voices, faces, clips, models, software and branding belong to us or our licensors. What you say to a character is yours; see the Privacy Policy for where it goes in each version.
6. Changes and availability
We may update the app, its characters and these terms. We will tell you about material changes.
7. Liability
The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Governing law and contact
